The operating terms for using Cleared, including Gmail actions, subscriptions, and the limits of the service.
By accessing or using Cleared ("the Service"), operated by Cleared ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Cleared is an email triage tool that connects to your Gmail account and presents your inbox emails one at a time. You can archive, reply to, or skip each email. The Service is designed to reduce email overwhelm and support focused email processing.
To use Cleared, you must sign in with a Google account and grant the Service access to your Gmail. You are responsible for:
You agree not to:
When you use triage actions (archive, reply, skip), those actions are performed directly on your Gmail account through the Gmail API. These actions are real and immediate:
You are solely responsible for the actions you take on your emails through the Service.
Cleared may offer paid subscription plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscription terms, including billing cycles, cancellation policies, and refund policies, will be presented at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on the Gmail API and other third-party services that are outside our control. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleared and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from lost emails, unintended email actions, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking Gmail access through your Google Account settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
